Honey Lavender Cacao

Purpose:
Honey Lavender Cacao is a soothing and aromatic blend designed for ceremonies focused on relaxation, healing, and emotional balance. Lavender’s calming properties, combined with the sweetness of honey and the heart-opening qualities of cacao, create a nurturing and comforting drink perfect for evening rituals or times of stress.


Ingredients:

  • 1 oz (28g) ceremonial-grade cacao, chopped or grated
  • 1 cup (240ml) hot water or milk
  • 1 tsp dried lavender flowers
  • 1 tbsp honey (preferably raw for its health benefits)
  • A pinch of sea salt (to enhance the flavors)

Instructions:

  1. Steep the Lavender
    If using dried lavender flowers, steep them in hot water or warm the milk with the lavender for about 5-7 minutes. Strain the flowers to remove them from the liquid.
  2. Prepare the Cacao
    Place the chopped cacao in a mug. Pour the lavender-infused hot water or milk over the cacao. Allow it to sit for a moment to soften the cacao before stirring vigorously until it is completely melted and smooth.
  3. Add Honey and Salt
    Stir in the honey and a pinch of sea salt. Mix thoroughly to ensure that the sweetener is fully incorporated and the salt has balanced the flavors.
  4. Serve with a Calming Intention
