Purpose:
Ashwagandha Bliss Cacao is designed for ceremonies focused on stress relief, balance, and rejuvenation. Ashwagandha is an adaptogen known for its ability to reduce stress and promote balance in the body. Combined with the heart-opening qualities of cacao, this drink is perfect for nurturing resilience and supporting well-being.

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz (28g) ceremonial-grade cacao, chopped or grated
  • 1 cup (240ml) hot water or milk
  • 1 tsp ashwagandha powder
  • A pinch of cinnamon (for warmth and blood sugar regulation)
  • 1-2 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)

Instructions:

  1. Warm the Liquid
Gently heat the water or milk in a saucepan over medium heat. Do not bring to a boil to preserve the beneficial properties of ashwagandha.
  2. Mix the Cacao and Ashwagandha
Place the cacao and ashwagandha powder in a mug. Pour the hot liquid over it, allowing the cacao to soften for a moment.
  3. Add Cinnamon and Sweetener
Stir in cinnamon and, if desired, honey or maple syrup to taste. Mix well until the cacao is completely dissolved and the drink is smooth.
  4. Serve with Mindful Intention
Pour the drink into your ceremonial cup. As you prepare to sip, focus on intentions of calmness, balance, and inner strength. Allow the earthy taste of ashwagandha and the rich depth of cacao to ground you in the present moment.

Tips for Ceremony:

  • Create a Calming Atmosphere
Set a tranquil space for your ceremony with soft lighting, perhaps some gentle music, and comfortable seating. This environment will enhance the stress-relieving properties of the drink.
  • Set an Intention for Inner Peace and Balance
Ashwagandha is powerful for managing stress and fostering emotional balance. As you drink, set an intention to release tensions and welcome serenity and stability into your life.
  • Combine with Relaxation Techniques
Pair your ashwagandha cacao ceremony with meditation, gentle yoga, or deep breathing exercises. These practices complement the adaptogenic effects of ashwagandha, enhancing its benefits.
